The Owl and the Pussycat
The story telling sculpture The Owl and the Pussycat was offered to schools after Westonbirt Arboretum had put on an exhibition last July.
We applied for it as a visual teaching aid to encourage children to hear stories and read stories to each other from the chair. The seat fits the biggest of adults so will happily accommodate our students! It is in prime position as you enter the school down the main drive. Huge thanks to the sculptor and Travis Perkins for using their big grab lorry to transport it. Without their help, delivery would have been nigh on impossible!
