Help for Heroes
After battling through torrential rain, four bedraggled cyclists arrived at Coln House on the first leg of their epic 220Km bike ride from Brize Norton to St Athan in Wales.
Joe, Jamie, Mark and Steve, all serving members of the Royal Air Force, are being sponsored to raise money for injured troops and their families to help support their long road to recovery.
First stop was the laundry where the lads were able to dry their soggy clothes and warm up. Then it was into the hall to host a question and answer session with pupils and staff to raise awareness of the H4H charity.
Refreshed with hot drinks and a spread of sandwiches and cakes, they set off again towards Tetbury where they were visiting another school. Pupils celebrated the visit with a doughnut treat at break time and waved the four intrepid travellers off with messages of support and good luck in their efforts to raise a total of £20,000.
If you want to add your support, donations to H4H can be made on Joe McCann's virgin money giving page:
Here they are at the end of their ride. Well done to all the boys
