Catering at GlosCol

At Coln House School we endeavour to give the best opportunities to all our pupils when they are considering their futures and career pathways. Therefore, external links and partnerships with colleges and training providers are of paramount importance. These partnerships are built on mutual respect, good relationships and a vision and focus of what is best for that individual pupil.

Here is just one example of these beneficial partnerships, a Coln House School year 11 pupil attending a catering course once a week at Gloscol working towards an N/is undertaking meaningful catering tasks, in an adult environment, enjoying the opportunity whilst learning and working towards a qualification in his chosen caree/////

Work Experience

Work experience is an important part of the curriculum for young people at Coln House School in years 10 and 11, offering them an insight into the world of work. It gives them an opportunity to be prepared and develop the skills required to be successful in the work place. They will learn skills such as teambuilding, communication, flexibility besides all the technical skills.
