Oakdene Forest

After a working hard all year a group of staff and pupils headed off to Oakdene Forest Park for a week's holiday.

During the week the pupils visited Swanage beach and enjoyed swimming in the sea, building sand castles and crabbing off the pier and Splashdown – where all enjoyed a 5 hour stay going up and down the amazing slides. Some liked the fast ones and some liked the slow ones.

We also visited Poole Park for lunch and enjoyed an ice cream whilst having a play in the park. On Thursday we visited Bournemouth and enjoyed the Oceanarium and shopping and a brief spell on the beach. All involved also enjoyed the family events in the clubhouse and on Tuesday night we had a CHS final in the Donkey dance which was won by Miss Samuels and Josh. Thursday night saw CHS finish a respectable 2nd in the music quiz.
