Meals are prepared at the house and you will be encouraged to help cook, unless you just want to put up with Mrs Alderman's cooking! There is a garden which needs work so budding gardeners will be encouraged to help Mr Taylor and Mr Brown plant vegetables ready for next spring. All students have their own en-suite bedroom and the houses have lounge, kitchen and dining areas.

Mr Wilsmer is always keen to venture onto the skateboards either at school or the local parks, and is also keen to share his surfing DVDs with anyone who can bear to sit and watch them with him. Woodland challenges are another of his loves as is campfire cooking and trying his hand at fishing. He is always up for a challenge; he is a keen Gloucester supporter and will turn his hand to all sports from basket-ball to pool, football to cards, and table tennis to monopoly. His guitar is never far away and though not all will share his taste in music he can teach you a chord or too, just don't get him on the Karaoke!
Miss Jones is a new member of the team; she completed a degree in Education and English, before embarking on extensive travels around the Pacific. She brings an interest in cooking having completed her GCSE Food Technology and loves baking cakes. Miss Jones will take you for a run and enjoys all sports so expect to be active. She also has an extensive collection of rom com DVDs that she is happy to share with everyone in the evenings.
Mrs Alderman has lots of skills from teaching you how to weave on a peg loom to teaching you how to build a fence, help sheep give birth to lambs, milk a cow or build a rick. As you may have realised Mrs Alderman has spent many years in the farming industry working on a variety of farms. She can also show you how to do 'Felting', using wool that you can process from fleece to end product so you can make your own handbags, slippers, socks or hat. There may be a chance to accompany Mrs Alderman on one of her expedition walks, this could lead you anywhere from the woods to the Dales, the Cotswolds to the Wiltshire plains and could be any distance from three to six miles. Happy days!
